robot welding-blog.jpg

AIAG is offering a free tool to help suppliers transition to IATF 16949. The tool can be used to perform an organizational gap analysis against IATF 16949 to identify differences that need to be addressed to ensure the supplier’s quality management system meets all the new requirements.

The analysis tool helps the supplier:

  • Identify differences that need to be addressed between the supplier’s current QMS and IATF 16949
  • Ensure your organization's QMS meets all the new requirements
  • Create a framework for completing an initial evaluation to determine the level of complexity of transitioning the organization’s QMS to IATF 16949

The gap tool is intended to be completed in a workshop environment, and the output will help the supplier develop an implementation plan specific to their organization.
