Automotive professionals working in the South have an opportunity to attend a regional roll-out of the new international automotive quality standard, IATF 16949, and get their questions answered at the Southern Automotive Quality Summit on March 9, 2017.
Sponsored by AIAG and the Alabama Automotive Manufacturers Association, the organizations are joining forces again to build on the success of last year’s Southern Automotive Quality Summit, which will be held at the Van Braun Center, North Hall, in Huntsville, Alabama.
Designed to showcase the Southern automotive industry’s commitment to world-class quality, this one-day meeting includes sessions focused on IATF 16949, including supplier compliance expectations and timing. Additional conference sessions are focused on how to develop a strong and diverse automotive supply base in the South. The day also offers two breaks for networking with attendees and speakers, as well as an evening reception.
Summit sponsors include Bosch, Dekra, FCA, General Motors, Honda, International Automotive Oversight Bureau (IAOB), iPoint, Magna, Nissan, and Toyota.
Exhibitors include PQ Systems, EMNS/GSQA, Team Quality Services, and EHD Technologies. There are limited exhibit spaces available. For more information, contact Lynsey Delane at (256) 824-6407.
