AIAG’s Customs Town Hall is an annual gathering of importers/exporters and customs service providers to discuss new and ongoing programs that impact customs clearance and/or cost. Join us for important updates on topics ranging from trade sanctions to C-TPAT and much more.

Session Highlight
Update on U.S. Sanctions Programs - Focus on the Auto Industry
The global business landscape is ever-changing for multi-national companies, as long-standing trade embargoes shift, relax in certain areas, and become more restrictive in others. Now more than ever, it is critical to know and understand the rules of engagement, manage uncertainty, and know where and with whom it is prohibited to conduct business in terms of U.S. Economic Sanctions programs. Presented by Andrew P. Galdes, associate, Latham & Watkins LLP, this session will address several of the recent changes in economic sanctions and trade policy and offer key advice to navigating this challenging landscape.

Additional session topics include Automotive & Aerospace CEE, Trusted Trader, C-TPAT Changes in the Program, Classifying Encryption, TPP vs. NAFTA, and Advanced Manifest Post Departure Filing Update.
