The Tennessee Automotive Manufacturers Association (TAMA) and AIAG are excited to cohost the first annual Southern Automotive Corporate Responsibility Event on August 15, 2017, at the Embassy Suites by Hilton in Franklin, Tennessee.

Today’s companies are diligently managing compliance to address requirements vital to business operations and customers, and this one-day event will address important topics ranging from environmental management and supply chain sustainability to chemical management and conflict minerals reporting.

This inaugural event was created to offer OEMs and suppliers a comprehensive overview of corporate responsibility/sustainability and offer solutions to issues impacting the industry. The entire supply chain can benefit when we collaborate, share best practices, and encourage the development of common solutions to increase industry performance and public perception.

TAMA Executive Director William Ashley Frye says he is excited about this conference because it is a win/win for everyone involved. “TAMA benefits because we wanted to host a prominent event to encourage members to send their staff people. Member companies will benefit, too. There is a great need both to develop current personnel and attract new workers, and cohosting this conference will help TAMA be seen as a resource to help the industry recruit those new workers. AIAG will also benefit because the event will spread their image beyond Michigan and the Midwest into areas where they are not as well known.”

Join your peers and learn more about this critical component of the auto industry as you broaden your network by engaging other subject matter experts, industry colleagues, and their customers. TAMA members, call 248-358-3003 to get your member rate for registration.
