In collaboration with the Tennessee Automotive Manufacturers Association (TAMA), AIAG is pleased to announce the first annual Southern Automotive Corporate Responsibility Event on August 15, 2017 in Nashville, Tennessee.
This inaugural event was created to offer OEMs and suppliers a comprehensive overview of corporate responsibility/sustainability and offer solutions to issues impacting the industry. The entire supply chain can benefit when we collaborate, share best practices, and encourage the development of common solutions to increase industry performance and public perception.
Today, companies are diligently managing compliance to address requirements vital to business operations and customers. This one-day event will address basics topics ranging from environmental management and chemical regulatory issues, to IMDS and conflict minerals reporting.
TAMA Executive Director Ashley Frye notes, “As we began our collaboration with AIAG and agreed to share resources, we established this corporate responsibility conference as our first event. We could see that there is a need for this type of education, and AIAG has a remarkable ability to support that effort.”
Attendees will also have the opportunity to broaden their network by engaging other subject matter experts, industry colleagues, and their customers.
