(Keynote Speaker) Brandon Lord, Deputy Executive Director, Trade U.S. Customs and Border Protection: Brandon is an engaging speaker with broad expertise in both the administration’s policy agenda as it interacts with CBP’s trade mission, and CBP’s trade operations. Brandon began working for the CBP over eight years ago as an international trade specialist, and most recently has been working on a number of the trade remedy efforts. We look forward to benefiting from Brandon’s unique perspective during his keynote presentation on CBP Priorities as well as other current Customs and International Trade news!
Jerry Malmo, Director, Civil Enforcement Division, Office of International Trade U.S. Customs and Border Protection: Presently, Jerry leads a team responsible for national trade enforcement policy and civil fraud prevention. With the passage of the Trade Facilitation and Trade Enforcement Act of 2015 (TFTEA) and the Countering America’s Adversaries Through Sanctions Act (CAATSA), he has been instrumental in reformulating the CBP policy and enforcement response to the global risk of goods produced with forced labor imported into the U.S. With 30+ years of experience in Customs law enforcement, we’re sure to learn from Jerry’s expertise.
Dawn Olesky, LCB, CCS, PMP Vice President Drawback Operations (STTAS, UPS): Dawn has extensive experience in the Customs industry – specializing in drawback – since 1991. Currently, she is responsible for overseeing drawback operations and identifying new drawback opportunities for existing and potential clients. Dawn is a licensed customs broker, certified customs specialist and certified project management professional, and we’re pleased to count her among our speakers for this annual event, as well. Andrew Chou, Supply Chain Security Specialist, U.S. Customs and Border Protection: Andrew began his career with CPB in 2008 as a Customs & Border Protection Officer (CBPO) and currently serves as a primary business sponsor with the CTPAT Portal team. In this capacity he works in communicating business requirements, testing, and troubleshooting issues related to the CTPAT Portal in addition to handling CTPAT Specialist duties. In light of the changes surrounding CTPAT, Andrew’s presentation will surely offer fresh insights.
Todd Boucher, Director Trusted Trader Programs Division Commercial Program Directorate, CBSA: Todd has over 18 years of experience in Customs Administration, working in both the private sector and the Canadian Federal Public Service. Currently, Todd is responsible for the development of policies and programs aimed at enhancing supply chain security and facilitating the movement of goods for low risk traders. As the Director of the Trusted Traders Division of that Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA), Todd’s presentation, “CBSA (CA) Perspective,” will provide us with yet another informative regional perspective!
