AIAG Needs Volunteers to Help Create Environmental Tools and Solutions

we need you-blog.jpg
AIAG’s program manager for environmental sustainability, Lecedra Welch, is looking for volunteers to join AIAG in its efforts to help create the best solutions for the industry, including trainings, webinars, common tools, publications, and events. These important workgroups enable AIAG to develop resources that support the needs of the industry, which is why member participation and feedback is so crucial.

Available workgroups include Energy Benchmarking, the Water Subgroup, Environmental Sustainability, and Greenhouse Gas. The workgroups generally meet once a month with the next meetings scheduled for mid-March. Email Lecedra Welch for an invitation to add to your calendar, and come learn more about AIAG initiatives that will not only keep your company updated but also give you the opportunity to meet others in the field and give back to the automotive community.

Also, be on the lookout for an upcoming industry meeting on environmental issues, including circular economy, energy, water, and more. The goal of this meeting will be to determine pain points and create new AIAG workgroups as needed to start tackling these issues.
