There’s a lot going on in automotive supply chain, and AIAG has developed two timely and on-target virtual events to provide answers for automotive professionals across the spectrum.
The two days of learning kick off with the 2020 Customs Town Hall on Wednesday, November 4th, followed by the 2020 Supply Chain Summit on Thursday, November 5th. Both events are popular fixtures in AIAG’s annual event line up and will be held virtually this year. Participants can earn CCS/CES credits for attending either event.
The Customs Town Hall is of particular relevance this year due to its automotive-specific content on USMCA implementation, an area that is top of mind for automotive supply chain teams right now. Additional high-value presentations will provide the latest on CTPAT, forced labor, cybersecurity, and export controls’ potential impact on autonomous and driver-assist technologies, with a particular focus on how these topics are impacting automotive trade compliance.
At the Customs Town Hall, networking begins at 7:00 am ET, and sessions run from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm. The conference ends with an hour dedicated again to engaging with other supply chain professionals in the Networking Lounge.
The Supply Chain Summit continues the conversation the next day, with an impressive line-up focused on supply chain agility, the ROI for blockchain, the disruption of electric vehicles to the global automotive supply chain, the supply chain workplace of the future, and the results of a collaborative new study on operational restart readiness after COVID-19. Wrapping up the day, a concise but highly potent panel will take on the effects of the new USMCA, discussing not only how USMCA has impacted automotive businesses, but also how they have taken on the challenges and opportunities within their own organizations.
The Supply Chain Summit networking starts at 7:00 AM ET, and the conference wraps up at 3:15 pm with an hour of open discussion and connecting in the Networking Lounge.
Through AIAG’s premier virtual meeting technology, participants can connect with each other, engage with exhibitors and their products, mingle in the virtual networking lounge, and visit the event’s Resource Center. Curious about our virtual event platform? Check it out here.
Both events are priced cost effectively at $29 for AIAG members and $49 for non-members. Complete agendas and registration information are on www.aiag.org, or call AIAG customer service at (248) 358-3003.
