# AIAG to Launch Carbon Article Series, Announces October Webinars

AIAG is closing out 2024 with an exciting new article series on everything you need to know about carbon in the automotive industry. Coming up, you can read spotlights on the AIAG Carbon Work Group, reporting 101, and reduction strategies.

"We look forward to addressing your most pressing automotive-specific concerns about carbon emissions as well as sharing the many carbon-related resources AIAG has available to you,” says Lecedra Welch Jones, AIAG's program manager of environmental sustainability.

Also, [registration is open for two upcoming free live webinars](https://www.aiag.org/store/webinars/upcoming) scheduled for October — [“Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism Compliance: Strategies and Insights for Businesses”](https://www.aiag.org/store/webinars/details?WebinarCode=E24CBAMWEB) will be at 9 a.m. October 1, 2024; and [“Steel Integrity: Understanding Responsible Steel's Chain of Custody Standard,”](https://www.aiag.org/store/webinars/details?WebinarCode=E24STLWEB) which supports the reduction of Scope 3 emissions, will be held at 1 p.m. October 22, 2024.
