It’s here! AIAG’s new Corporate Responsibility (CR) Speaker Series – first announced in the final days of 2018 – launched on January 25, with a webinar on environmental, social and governance (ESG) data, led by GM’s Sharon Basel, Lee O’Dwyer from Bloomberg L.P., and Mike Wallace from BrownFlynn, an ERM Group Company.
Additional topics of discussion for the series will vary throughout the year, however, the intent will remain the same: to create awareness of issues impacting the automotive industry, facilitate a dialogue on new and emerging trends, and encourage proactive action on the part of individual organizations and the industry as a whole.
Upcoming events, both virtual and in-person, will explore numerous corporate responsibility and sustainability topics including human rights transparency in the supply chain, responsible sourcing and North Korean labor risks to supply chains and transportation, among others.
Moving forward, we’d love to hear what topics or issues you think we should explore in subsequent webinars. Have a great idea? Reach out to us at email@example.com! Also, be sure to stay tuned for more information on the next webinar, scheduled for this April.
