AIAG’s North American Customs and Trade Town Hall on November 6, 2025, in Detroit brought automotive supply chain leaders together in person and virtually to tackle challenges including dealing with the new global tariff environment, effectively assessing communications up and down their supply chains, and navigating the next wave of customs and trade policies.

AIAG’s Customs and Trade Town Hall remains one of its most popular annual events because of the quality of thought leaders that attend each year and because automotive companies know they can’t afford to fall behind in their understanding of the most innovative strategies for trade management.

“This line-up of top-notch speakers provided attendees with the very latest information and insights on the global customs and trade climate and how automotive companies need to pivot to set their businesses up for success,” says Myriam Cronk, AIAG’s program manager, global customs and trade. “Things continue to change so rapidly, and it was a great benefit to have all these experts together in one space, sharing their advice and discussing the most pressing issues.”

As 2025 draws to a close, Cronk acknowledges the many volunteers and sponsors who support and work tirelessly throughout the year to give back to their industry. “AIAG is so grateful for the many presenters at all our events and the work group participants who volunteer countless hours to advance automotive initiatives that streamline processes, solve challenges, create standards and guidelines, and drive the industry forward,” she says. “Our sponsors and exhibitors are truly extraordinary and offer some of the most innovative products and services in our industry. We look forward to a very productive 2026 and encourage our members and other industry supporters to stay involved, because the work is so very important to secure our collective future.”
