On December 23, President Biden signed the Uyghur Forced Labor Act. Under the act, all goods with a connection to China’s Xinjiang province are presumed to be made by forced labor, effective June 21. U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) will also be responsible to produce guidance for importers by the effective date.

AIAG and Wayne State University continue their successful collaboration with the 9^th Annual Auto Industry Certificate in Purchasing & Supply Management. The course offers a winter session from February 10-May 12, 2022 (live virtual) and a winter session from September 1-December, 2022 (live virtual and face-to-face, if safe). The winter in-person sessions will be held at the AIAG Headquarters in Southfield, Michigan.

The Suppliers Partnership for the Environment (SP) and the Automotive Industry Action Group (AIAG) today announced the publication of a new guidance document, “Measuring Recycled Content of Automotive Products.”

This five-day seminar style course – offered by AIAG in conjunction with Wayne State University (WSU) – kicks off on December 1, 2021, at the WSU Mike Ilitch School of Business in Detroit, Michigan.
