PFAS Experts Panel
From 1:10-2:10 p.m. on Oct. 15, the PFAS Experts Panel will discuss the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency rules and updates in regard to PFAS reporting and the OEM perspective on how to respond to those rules, as well as strategies for reporting. Panelists include Catherine Palin, senior Attorney and director of environmental policy alliance for Automotive Innovation; and William Heslip, chemical regulatory compliance specialist for Freudenberg-NOK Sealing Technologies. Kevin DeBell, senior advisor for program and project Management in the EPA’s Office of Pollution Prevention and Toxics, was also invited to speak.
OEM/Supplier Panel
Later that afternoon, from 3:05-4:05 p.m. on Oct. 15, the OEM/Supplier Panel will take place. Topics covered will include how PCF will be cascaded throughout the supply chain and what will be done with the data; how to plan to train your supply base; chemistry manager expansion; electronic reporting; and information for Tier 1s on the use phase of components.
Moderated by Brenda Beny, owner of BCubed Consulting Inc., the panelists who plan to offer their expertise are Oliver Ganser, vice president of the BMW Group Purchasing & Supplier Network and BMW Group & Chairman of the Board Catena-X e.V.; Deb Reining, regulatory compliance manager for Cummins Inc.; Yusuf Williams, manager of global material compliance for Harman Automotive Division; Michael Wurzman, president of RSJ Technical Consulting; and Jim Raymond, senior manager of Toyota Motor North America’s chemical management office.
