As our opening keynote for this year’s Quality Summit, Chris Mailloux brings insights from nearly thirty years of experience with General Motors, spanning back to his initial role in Opel Espana introducing lean manufacturing principles in a high-volume manufacturing facility.
Since then, Chris has held various positions in industrial engineering, leadership, program management, and more – including a Mexico-based senior management role in supplier quality, and a subsequent position in the U.S. developing and improving supplier manufacturing operations.
Now, in his current capacity as GM’s Global Director of Supplier Quality and Development, Chris’s focus is on driving continuous improvement through eliminating waste within the organization and its supplier interfaces. He also represents GM on the IATF Board, and is Chairman of the International Automotive Oversight Bureau (IAOB) Board of Directors.
