Originally published by AIAG and Odette, the “Key Performance Indicators for Global Materials Management and Logistics” guideline was intended to reduce confusion and unnecessary administrative work for suppliers by eliminating the need for each automotive company to create their own materials management and logistics KPIs.

Now, an updated version of the publication – [Key Performance Indicators for Automotive Supply Chain Management](https://www.aiag.org/store/publications/details?ProductCode=XO-M-8-2) – is available for purchase at the AIAG Store! 

As with the original version, the intent of the newly revised recommendation is to define and promote common indicators and understanding between partners to improve performance and reduce cost in the supply chain. The new version is also designed to be more user friendly, with a more intuitive flow of information, regrouped and categorized KPIs, revised objectives, scope and rating rules for indicators and sub-indicators to provide better guidance to users, and much more!
