New Training Alert! Understanding the Welding Special Process System Assessment – a workshop that helps participants learn how to internally assess the management and control of their welding processes – is now available at the AIAG Store. This new AIAG training is based on the second edition of the CQI-15 Welding System Assessment (WSA), which was developed in collaboration with Ford Motor Company, Nexteer Automotive, Adient, Dana, Delphi Technologies, FCA US LLC, General Motors Company, Gestamp Mason, and Magna International.
Released in October 2019, the WSA 2nd edition is a comprehensive audit covering all variations of welding, intended to provide a common approach to a welding management system for automotive production and service part organizations.
Improvements in the second edition include a scoring system that allows organizations to have a numerical or measurable indicator to their compliance – permitting them to monitor their improvement actions over time – along with best practices for many processes and components to share lessons learned globally.
Ready to learn how to effectively use the WSA, including the new scoring system? Join us at our upcoming Understanding the Welding Special Process System Assessment training course – next offered on April 20, 2020.*
