From new technologies to shifting expectations, today’s supplier landscape calls for fresh thinking and smarter solutions to common challenges — especially at the sub-tier level. That’s why AIAG is launching a new work group to reimagine the CQI-19 Sub-Tier Supplier Management Process Guideline for today’s realities.
Since 2012, CQI-19 has been a trusted resource, but with rapid industry change, revised reference documents, and a growing need for actionable metrics and training, it’s time for an update. Since expert supplier development talent is already stretched thin and organizations are facing greater pressure to bridge performance gaps, this group will develop practical tools and resources to help companies of all sizes quickly identify and address supplier issues and corrective actions.
Work Group Details: Meeting just twice each month (for 2 hours each), OEM and tier supplier experts will collaborate on next-generation solutions tailored to current supplier management challenges.
