Registration Now Open for AIAG’s 2017 Canadian Automotive Quality Summit

Registration is now open for the AIAG 2017 Canadian Automotive Quality Summit, scheduled for February 16, 2017, as part of the 2017 AutoShow — O Canada! Industry Day in Toronto.

A new collaboration between the Automotive Parts Manufacturer’s Association (APMA) and AIAG, the event will showcase the Canadian automotive industry’s commitment to world-class quality and is designed for industry professionals from the various automotive manufacturing segments in Canada.

This inaugural Canadian Automotive Quality Summit will host the first roll-out in Canada of the automotive industry’s newest international quality standard, IATF 16949. A half-day of presentations will include:

  • Automotive Standards Update from the International Automotive Task Force (IATF)
  • Certification Rules Update from the International Automotive Oversight Bureau (IAOB)
  • Transition Timing and Supplier Support information

The Summit will position OEMs, suppliers, and service providers to face quality-related challenges successfully. The sessions are focused on new industry global quality standards and will highlight supplier compliance expectations and timing.
