IMDS: Compliance Tool to Meet Customer Specific Requirements (April 4) (Presented in Spanish): Evandro Francischetti, IMDS Mexico trainer from RSJ Technical Consulting, is partnering with AIAG to discuss how IMDS is used to track materials contained in our products. As a requirement through PPAP, having a proper understanding and training of IMDS leads to good quality data submissions. Countdown to Canadian ACE (CARM) for Non-Resident Importers Webinar (April 10): The process of declaring importations into Canada to the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) is about to change, as the long-awaited full release of the CBSA Assessment and Revenue Management (CARM) digital initiative is scheduled to go live on May 13, 2024. Join George Reid from Bennett Jones LLP for a discussion on CARM-related developments relevant to non-resident importers, the latest information on CARM transition planning, and how non-resident importers can prepare for the transition. UFLPA Trade Policy: A Legal Perspective on Compliance (April 17): This hybrid event is open to AIAG members (in person or virtually) and non-members (virtually only). Join us to ask questions and hear key insights on UPLPA federal enforcement and policy by Washington, D.C.-based international trade law attorney Michael P. House. The Importance of APQP/CP in the Supply Chain Webinar (April 25): Featuring Plexus International's Jeremy Hazel, this one-hour webinar will focus on the importance of applying APQP and Control Plan methodologies throughout the supply chain and how the new editions can help you achieve even greater benefits. While sub-tier suppliers play a vital part in the success of any new product development activity, they are frequently left out of APQP projects until it’s too late for them to have a significant impact.
