Our 2018 Supply Chain Summit will be here before we know it! This one day event features a stellar line up of speakers presenting on numerous topics pertaining to cybersecurity, generational shifts, big data and analytics, “Industry 4.0,” and much more! Here’s a quick look at two of our speakers and the issues they’ll be discussing.
Digitizing the Supply Chain: How Industry 4.0 is Changing the Game
Presented by Pavan Muzumdar, chief operating officer at Automation Alley, this session will focus on the trends and technologies influencing manufacturing today.
With more than 20 years of experience in executive leadership roles at family businesses, Pavan’s unique perspective and people-focused approach to work has served him well. In addition to his role at Automation Alley, Muzumbdar is also the founder and managing director of PCS Insight – a company that helps organizations become more effective and successful by reducing “human friction” – as well as the CEO of MVS Alliance, a strategic partner of PCS Insight.
SCM Succession Planning & Mentorship Best Practices
In this session, Lori Sisk, global supply chain management lecturer at Wayne State University, leads a multi-generational panel of experts in a discussion on the impact of generational turnover and the necessity of strong succession plans and effective mentorship.
In addition to lecturing at Wayne State, Lori’s professional background also includes a number of stints in the automotive industry. Most recently (2012 –2015) she was GM’s supply chain manager, and prior to that worked for Delphi, as well as in purchasing at both TRW and AutoAlliance International (Mazda Motor Manufacturing USA Corp.).
