- SCM Succession Planning: Wayne State’s Lori Sisk will moderate this panel composed of individuals from various stages in their careers. Together, they will discuss the impact of generational turnover due to increasing rates of retirements, and the necessity for planning ahead to ensure the successful transfer of institutional knowledge. Speakers will share their best practices for mentoring, along with real life success stories.
- Supply Chain 2025 Survey Announcement: Thomson Reuters will present on a new project, launching in the second half of 2018: Supply Chain 2025. Now in the early conceptual stages, Thomson Reuters will discuss the scope and goals of the initiative in terms of exploring the current state of supply chain management, an in-depth look at some of the top challenges on the horizon line, and recommendations for implementing a strategic path forward. This upcoming Supply Chain 2025 report will come in addition to AIAG’s previous Quality 2020, and the upcoming Future of Corporate Responsibility report.
- Finished Vehicles Logistics – Connected Vehicles, and Finished Vehicle Logistics Visibility: The first of the two FVL sessions will be led by Mark Brazeau, head of logistics at FCA, while the second will feature a panel of senior leaders: Corrine Akahoshi, senior manager, export & marine, Toyota; Laura Pomerville, director, BNSF; and Mark Anderson, president & COO, United Road.
