CBP signs Mutual Recognition Arrangement with Brazil

WASHINGTON – U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and Brazil’s Customs Authority Receita Federal today signed an Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) Mutual Recognition Arrangement (MRA). This MRA builds on other agreements between CBP and the Government of Brazil and ensures coordination for each nation’s supply chain security as well as efforts in combating customs and trade offenses.

UK-Australia FTA Should Come into Effect This Year

A new free trade agreement (FTA) between the United Kingdom and Australia should come into effect this year after both nations committed to passing the necessary legislation.

The deal was signed on December 16th 2021 following an agreement in principle having been made in June, marking Britain's first from scratch since its departure from the European Union.
