Read More2020 Core Tools Self-Assessment Updates
AIAG launched its free, online Core Tools Self-Assessment (CTSA) in 2012 to help individuals measure their competency in the four Automotive Quality Core Tools: APQP/PPAP, FMEA, MSA and SPC. The CTSA is a timed, open book self-assessment available in nine different languages (i.e., Brazilian Portuguese, English, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Simplified Chinese, and Spanish – Latin America). These nine translations have allowed 18,402 individuals from 89 different countries and 3,215 different companies to complete 22,561 self-assessments since 2012.

In response to subscriber requests, AIAG has added two new features to our CTS Software!
The first of these new additions allows users to add Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) symbols in CTS. As shown below, a popup window provides the various GD&T symbols that can be entered into Product Characteristics and Process Characteristics fields, as well as other areas of the control plan and FMEA. Of the 21 available GD&T symbols, users can view seven at a time, and can access the remaining symbols by clicking the left or right arrows in the popup window.
