USMCA Content Reporting Course Coming Soon!

usmca next exit - blog

Effective July 1, 2020, the new USMCA will replace NAFTA as the trilateral free trade agreement between the U.S., Canada, and Mexico – and our industry will begin to feel the impact of dramatic rule changes, including an increase in overall value content requirements, the introduction of the Labor Value Content (LVC) requirements, and new categories/requirements for automotive parts.

In response, AIAG – along with OEM, supplier, and free trade agreement experts – has developed a new training for USMCA Content Reporting, geared toward automotive trade compliance practitioners and working managers. This training will take place over the course of two consecutive days (16 hours total) in a highly interactive virtual setting for 2020, and include an in-depth review of the new rules of origins, a step-by-step qualification process to qualify your goods as eligible, a review of specific terms with examples, and much more!
