Welcoming Korey Eko to the AIAG Quality Steering Committee

business man welcome-blog

AIAG is excited to introduce Korey Eko, Quality Process & Methods Senior Specialist at Stellantis, as the newest addition to our Quality Steering Committee (QSC).

Along with more than three decades of hands-on experience in automotive warranty, APQP, and manufacturing quality, Korey has a long history of engaging with AIAG — including leveraging the CQI-14 Automotive Warranty Management guideline to build warranty systems and manage NTFs in previous roles with Tier 1 suppliers.

Moving forward, Korey is eager to deepen his involvement with AIAG’s industry initiatives by driving common solutions to today’s challenges, such as fluctuating tariffs on service part warranty costs and the complexities of EV battery replacement and repair.

With these priorities in mind, we invited Korey to share his perspective on emerging trends, advice for new automotive professionals, and more. Here’s what he had to say:

Why do you think it’s important to come together at AIAG and participate in events or volunteer for other activities? Participation at AIAG events is the best way to find out what is trending in the automotive industry. Also, it’s a great opportunity to network with other automotive professionals.

How do you keep up on what’s new in the automotive industry? I read various automotive news-based web pages to stay informed and attend AIAG meetings and events.

What current or emerging automotive trends do you think are most urgent to prepare for? The positive or negative impact of AI and the returned focus on gas engines vs. BEV in the US.

What advice would you offer those just starting out in automotive? Try to learn as much as you can from coworkers and ask lots of questions.
