2019 October Future Automotive Expert (FAE) Event: Featuring recently retired vice president of global quality for Dana, Inc., David Kneisler, the theme of the October event will be, “Key Career Success Factors: They May Not Be What You Think!” Reflecting on a successful 35-year career, David will discuss key personal and organizational success factors applicable to any career, team or organization – and how to implement those factors into your current role and organization. Following the Q&A session at the end of David’s presentation, attendees are invited to join the Quality Summit crowd at the attached Suburban Collection Showplace for a networking reception from 4:30 – 6:30 p.m. This unique setup provides FAE attendees with the opportunity to mix and mingle with Quality leaders and other experienced industry professionals, while still benefiting from the tailored format and content of the smaller and more focused FAE event. 2019 Quality Summit: The theme of this year’s one and a half day event is “Developing Quality Competencies for Organizational Success.” In addition to an OEM panel discussing customer specific requirements – including their transition plans to the AIAG & VDA FMEA Handbook – industry experts will share insights on the following: a lean perspective on transitioning from training records to evidence of competency; a balanced approach beyond “training” to developing quality skills; an automotive supplier case study showing the direct impact of training and competency development with quality performance improvement, and much more! Summit attendees will also have the opportunity to win a single concurrent user license for the CTS software, valued at $360/year. A total of ten (10) free CTS software licenses will be raffled off at the event, and winners must be in attendance to receive their prize! Finally, for those in town prior to the event, we'll also be offering our AIAG & VDA Process FMEA: Transitioning for Practitioners course, September 30 - October 1, at a 10% discount for attendees! Find more details on both the summit and training here.
2019 IMDS & Product Chemical Compliance Conference: Held October 16-17 at The Mint at Michigan First Conference Center in Lathrup Village, this one and a half day event will explore "Beyond ELV: The Expanding Requirements for Compliance Reporting."
