Featuring OEM and supplier-specific perspectives on electrification and other cutting-edge technologies shaping the mobility landscape, our October 3-4, 2024 Quality Summit is the place to be to get up to speed on the latest developments in automotive quality!

With a wide range of presentations from experts throughout the supply chain, agenda highlights include IATF 16949 and Rules Sixth updates, details on current efforts to develop a comprehensive wiring CQI, and much more, including:

Industry Keynote: Following brief introductory remarks from AIAG’s Harald Wilhelm, this year’s summit will kick off with our industry keynote speaker, Stellantis’ VP of North American Customer Experience, William Kendell. From his early days with the company as an engineer in the original Trenton Engine Plant to subsequent roles in manufacturing quality (focusing on powertrain) — and a recent position with global responsibility for propulsion supplier quality — William will share key insights from his varied experiences and current work.

“Automating the Control Plan in Highly Automated Processes” with Gary Capron (Control of Manufacturing Manager, Micron Technology): The AIAG Control Plan 1st Edition includes a section on using control plans in highly automated processes, such as semiconductor manufacturing. This presentation will discuss further automating control plans and incorporating machine learning and AI into FMEAs. Attendees will learn how to enhance the effectiveness and maintenance of control plans while adhering to automotive standards and minimizing process variation without adding unnecessary paperwork.

“In Progress NOW! Joint AIAG & VDA SPC Bluebook Update” with JD Marhevko (VP of Quality, ZF Friedrichshafen AG): AIAG and VDA are collaborating once again to bring the automotive world a much-needed update to the Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Measurement System Analysis (MSA) bluebooks! Join us to learn more about this team’s efforts to refresh these critical Core Tools, and ensure you’re “in the know” as to what’s coming and how to prepare yourself (and your organization) for key updates.

Closing Keynote: Led by author, former dueling pianist, workforce strategist, and award-winning keynote speaker Greg Offner, our closing session at this year’s event will focus on “the tip jar culture.” As companies continue to grapple with employee retention, burnout, and engagement, Greg will share three unique strategies from the world of dueling piano bars to employ in your workplace, helping to drive engagement, diminish burnout, and retain top talent.
