Did you know that IATF 16949 clauses 7.2 and 7.2.1 require an organization to demonstrate an employee’s competence in key items of the organization’s Quality Management System? To help meet this requirement, AIAG’s APQP/PPAP Certification Exam verifies an employee’s proficiency in product quality planning and control plan guidelines, and PPAP submittal requirements.

Based off of the APQP and PPAP manuals, this exam allows an employee to demonstrate his or her proficiency in applying and communicating these core tools to the extent of promoting product development that will increase customer satisfaction. Recommended for individuals involved in internal auditing, product development and launch, and the engineering, manufacturing, quality, or sale of a product, it is strongly recommended that exam takers have knowledge of and experience with the core tools being verified.
