Survey scope. Requests for supplier data have reached an all-time high, due in part to growing global legislation, regulations, and customer-specific requirements. The need for supply chain transparency is driving verification, reporting, and compliance activities in ESG areas such as carbon emissions, forced labor, and chemical regulations, among others. These data requests are creating an unsustainable burden on the supply chain along with increased costs.
