From his early days with General Motors as a Manufacturing Quality Engineer in Wisconsin, to his current position as GM’s Executive Chief Engineer for Battery Electric Trucks, Josh Tavel’s expertise is rooted in more than two decades of experience with the organization – including international roles in Brazil and South Korea.

Today, as both a pioneer and leader in electric vehicles (EV), Josh is responsible for the team developing and executing GM’s all-new electric truck architecture, and will be discussing the organization’s plans to create an “all-electric future” at this year’s Supply Chain + Trade Compliance Summit.

Along with exploring the transition from ICE to EV, Josh’s midday session will focus on separating “fact from fiction” when it comes vehicle electrification, as well as the various factors driving EV adoption.
