New CBP-led ACE Reporting Classes Available This May!

In response to industry demand, we’re excited to announce the launch of two ACE reporting courses next month only, as these classes are scheduled just once per calendar year.

Led by Carlos R. Rodriguez from U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), the two-hour ACE Reporting Demonstration for Import training is scheduled for May 11, 2021, and the ACE Reporting Demonstration for Export course is scheduled for the following day, May 12, 2021.

In both sessions, Carlos will discuss the CBP’s new data initiative, explore ACE reporting training materials on CBP.gov, demonstrate how to run standard reports and modify canned reports, and review other system features such as scheduling, sharing, and sending reports to other users in ACE.

For importers specifically, the course will also cover the most popular reports for cargo release, entry summary, PGA Message Set, statement, AD/CVD, liquidation, reconciliation, drawback, protest and in bonds, while the export-specific session will include a review of the most popular reports for filers and USPPIs.

Note: An ACE Portal Account is recommended – however, not required – for participation in these courses. If your company does not have an account and would like to establish one, simply click here for more information and to apply.
