EGLE Funding for Electric, Hybrid, Hydrogen Fuel Cell Commercial Vehicles

In support of Governor Whitmer's priorities for a just transition to a low-carbon transportation sector, the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE) is offering a second round of funding for electric, hydrogen fuel cell, or diesel-electric hybrid commercial and mass transit vehicles to replace older, diesel-fueled models. Grants can also be used to buy charging stations for the electric vehicles.

China remains top US trade partner, Mexico No. 2

China was the United States’ top trading partner for the 10th consecutive month in January, and was No. 1 overall in 2020, according to U.S. Census Bureau data released Friday.

Mexico was No. 2, as its total trade with the U.S. fell 1.3% to $48.5 billion in January, compared to the same period in 2019. Canada was third with $45.8 billion.
