Change isn’t just coming – it’s here. With fewer than six months left to complete the transition to IATF 16949:2016, now is the time to ensure your organization has the tools and training necessary to successfully implement the new standard.

The IATF 16949 transition deadline is rapidly approaching and many AIAG Certified Supplier Auditors need to renew their certification to complete second-party audits. The question, however, is how to do this without the undue hardship of investing in a five day class. The answer: AIAG’s Transitioning to IATF 16949:2016 for Automotive Auditors course, next offered 3/12 – 3/14, with additional sessions throughout the rest of 2018. 

During the week of 11 September 2017, the IATF conducted a Stakeholder Conference in Oberursel Germany. The conference included representatives from the 43 Certification Bodies (CB’s) and five supplier representatives for each industry association in the IATF. AIAG also hosted a supplier feedback session in August, allowing approximately 40 additional industry stakeholders the opportunity to provide feedback to the IATF.
