Welcome back! Following a summer break period, sessions are resuming for the 2021 WSU/AIAG Auto Industry Certificate in Purchasing and Supply Chain Management program – and we’re eager to see this year’s phenomenal group of participants continue to make great strides.    

Designed to provide high potential candidates with an in-depth understanding of supply chain issues in the context of the global vehicle industry, this unique program is led by professionals from both industry and academia, and includes a mix of discussions and lectures, a company-related project and presentation, case studies, and much more.

Next offered on August 16-20, the Exemplar Global-Certified ISO 14001 EMS Lead Auditor course provides attendees with the skills and tools necessary to become effective lead auditors at their organizations.

Learning objectives for this virtual training include the ability to define Exemplar Global criteria, describe environmental awareness, understand the ISO 14001:2015 standard and environmental legal requirements, practice and apply auditing skills, and much more.

With May just around the corner, we’re getting ready for a full schedule of virtual trainings – including those focusing on automotive warranty, USMCA Content Reporting and the AIAG & VDA FMEA Handbook, along with new offerings like our ACE Reporting courses for both import and export.

Scheduled next for May 17^th, the Automotive Warranty Management – An Introduction training is intended for those who are new to – or want to gain a better understanding of – warranty management, including how the systems interact between suppliers, customers and dealers.

Have you spotted our newest Live Virtual Training options at the AIAG Store? In addition to courses focusing on everything from the Quality Core Tools and IATF 16949:2016 to IMDS and the new USMCA, we’ve now expanded our online offerings to include two additional courses:  Automotive Warranty Management – An Introduction, and Automotive Warranty Assessment Training.

As the industry continues to work toward a full recovery, AIAG has been diligently working to add online, Live Virtual Trainings to meet the needs of the automotive industry. One of these offerings, the AIAG IATF 16949:2016 Supplier Audit Certificate – Renewal, is now available as an online proctored exam.
