When the Automotive Industry Action Group, known as AIAG, was faced with high demand for their newly released Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) 3^rd Edition and Control Plan 1^st Edition manuals, they knew exactly where to get help. By partnering with volunteers from the Judson Center, a non-profit human service agency in Southeast Michigan that provides specialized care in the areas of autism, mental and behavioral health, disabilities, foster care, adoption, and mentoring, the AIAG team not only got their manuals shipped out to automotive OEMs and suppliers around the globe, but they also got more smiles and laughs than they could have ever imagined.

The Spanish webinar recording of “IMDS as a Compliance Tool” is now available to watch for those who missed it live. Evandro Francischetti, IMDS Mexico trainer from RSJ Technical Consulting, partnered with AIAG to discuss how IMDS, the current automotive tool, is used to track materials contained in our products in a session on April 4, 2024. As a requirement through PPAP, having a proper understanding of and training on IMDS leads to good-quality data submissions.

Did you know that APQP 3rd Edition and Control Plan 1st Edition will be required by GM September 1, 2024, with Ford and Stellantis soon to follow? Now's the time to start preparing!
