As the only industry-endorsed training of its kind, AIAG’s new USMCA Content Reporting course was developed by a highly qualified group of volunteers from numerous OEMs, heavy truck manufacturers and Tier 1 suppliers, along with guidance from trusted trade compliance experts.

As we continue to update and develop our Core Tools Support (CTS) software to improve the user experience, we’re excited to announce the addition of two new support features on our main CTS webpage, and a new task screen in the software itself!

New publication alert! Developed in collaboration with volunteers from OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, heat treat suppliers, and calibration companies that service the heat treat industry, the 4^th edition of the Special Process: Heat Treat System Assessment (CQI-9) is now available for purchase at the AIAG Store.   

Join us on July 14, 2020, for our newest virtual training, the Global MMOG/LE V5 Training- Express for MMOG/LE Version 5. This half day course – which runs from 8 a.m. - 12 p.m., EST – takes place entirely online in an interactive WebEx environment, with time built in for a Q&A session at the end.

In support of industry recovery efforts, AIAG has partnered with QAD and Quistem to offer a free webinar on “Operational Restart Readiness for the Automotive Supply Chain.” Presented by AIAG’s program manager of supply chain products and services, Jim Liegghio; QAD’s director of automotive, Terry Onica; and Quistem LLC’s president, Cathy Fisher, this 45-minute recording addresses key manufacturing topics to consider for resuming operations after a complete or partial shutdown in the current environment.

The online Core Tools Self-Assessment (CTSA) was launched in 2012 as a way for individuals to measure their competency in the automotive quality Core Tools: APQP/PPAP, FMEA, MSA, and SPC. The questions reflect information that virtually everyone in automotive quality today should know, and results can be used to verify the effectiveness of your Core Tools training and develop individual or group improvement plans.

Did you know that AIAG offers a free eLearning overview of NHTSA’s warranty and recall reporting requirements? The Introduction to US Motor Vehicle Safety Training, developed in cooperation with FCA, Ford, GM, Honda North America, Toyota Motor North America and Volvo Truck Group, introduces the user to NHTSA’s reporting requirements and guidelines for initiating a product recall.
